OK I haven't bought the new release of Two Sevens Clash, but I like owned the original Ja. LP and the earlier CD and will buy this one because it is like the finest reggae album except maybe Blackheart Man (Bunny) or East of the River Nile (Augustus Pablo)--except buyer beware since the song Two Sevens Clash foretells the ending of the world on 7/7/77 and in case you haven't noticed this did /5(18). Essential! The mighty debut album from African disciples Culture pairing up with the Mighty Two, Joe Gibbs and Errol Thompson is one of the landmark sets of roots reggae, a defining moment of the genre dropped during the year when two sevens clashed. And though the apocalypse didn't rain down from the skies in '77, this album was certainly a world-changing event, one of the finest moments in Brand: Shanachie (Label). Reply

Aug 06,  · Maybe they were searching some more for their own ground in the second decade of their carier, but the touched the heart, mind and body. And even way up in the nineties and the first years of the twentieth century the chopped wood. But hearing Two Sevens Clash again is a universe on it's own/5(91). Reply

Comment: CULTURE Two Sevens Clash ( US issue of the track vinyl LP with the blue & red labels featuring a collection of classic roots reggae from arguably Jamaicas finest vocal harmony group produced by Joe Gibbs. The picture sleeve has a few light signs of shelfwear to the edges and the vinyl appears in barely played condition VP/5(67). Reply
